12. Alexander McLean

During 1860, Alexander migrated to Tasmania leaving his son Peter behind in Scotland.
According to shipping documents, Alexander and Isabella Morris arrived in Tasmania as "Bounty" passengers aboard the INDIANA on the 24th April 1860, The INDIANA departed Glasgow on the 24th December 1859.

Arrival documents indicate that:

Alexander was a ploughman aged 24, Presbyterian, able to read and wrie and a native of Crieff
Isabella was a dairymaid, aged 18, Presbyterian, able to read and write and a native of Crieff

Alexanders first wife Janet McConnachie was shown on the 1851 cens. Kinnoul Co Perth pp 39 indicates that at the time Janet McConnachie lived at 21 Mitchell Terrace, she was an unmarried daughter aged 22

Cuse of death:- Pneumonia


Mary Calderwood

Mary died at the age of 52 because of an Intracranial Tumour


23. Peter McLean

At the time of his marriage Peter resided at 115 North Montrose Street, Glascow and Jemima resided at 55 Bain Street Glasgow.
